Shandong Wecheer New Building Materials Co., Ltd. recently announced the official operation of its production base in Urumqi, Xinjiang, marking a pivotal step in its strategic expansion into western China and Central Asian markets. As a leading enterprise in the integrated housing industry, Wecheer Group is leveraging Xinjiang’s geographic advantages to further optimize its national production layout and accelerate its presence in Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) regions.

Founded in 1984, Wecheer Group has established four major production bases in Weifang (Shandong), Chengdu (Sichuan), Foshan (Guangdong), and Urumqi (Xinjiang), with additional facilities under construction in Xi’an and Jiangsu. The Xinjiang plant not only enhances the company’s responsiveness to the western domestic market but also capitalizes on logistics hubs such as the Horgos Port to open up export channels to Central Asia, the Middle East, and beyond.

Wecheer’s products are currently exported to over 70 countries and regions, including South America, Russia, Australia, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and Africa. The activation of the Xinjiang base is expected to strengthen the company’s overseas delivery capabilities, providing efficient and sustainable prefabricated building solutions for infrastructure, cultural tourism, and municipal projects in Central Asia.

Looking ahead, Wecheer Group reaffirmed its commitment to a “global operation, localized service” strategy. By harnessing the strategic location of its Xinjiang facility, the company aims to deepen cooperation with Central Asian nations in green construction and integrated housing, contributing to the high-quality development of the Belt and Road Initiative.
